The three- year Degree course leading shall to the Bachlors Degree in Arts/Science of Sambalpur University shall bee spread over a period of three Academic year.
A Candidate for the Bachelors Degree in Arts/Science shall be required to pass the following Examination.
A candidate shall be eligible to appear the Second the Second and Final University Examination respectively. However his/her result shall not be University Examination respectively.
Any person who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination for the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa or and other qualifying Examination recognized by the acdemitted to the first year of the course in, Science unless he she has passed the qualifying examination in Science.
No students shall ordinarily be admitted into the 1st year of the course four weeks (including holiday & Sudnays) after the date of publication of result of the Annual Secondary Examination of the Council of higher Secondary Education, Orissa ar at the reopening of the Summer Vacation which ever is later. In exceptionalcases, the appropriate authority may notify the last date of admission
Candidates who for same valid reasons are unable to take admission within the time prescribed under regulation above, may however be admitted into a college within two weeks (including holidays and Sundays) from the last date of admission with a late fee as prescribed by the University.
Candidate passing the Instant Higher Secondary Examination of the Council of higher Education, Orissa may be admitted into a college within two weeks (including Holidays and Sundays) after the publication of the result, provided the candidates may be admitted within one weeks there after with a late fee as prescribed by the University for each candidate. A candidate so admitted shall have the percentage of lectures from the of his/her admission.
Admission to the Second and Third year course shall be complete within two of the weeks of the opening of the college without waiting the publication of the result o the First & Second University Examination respectively provided that students may be, within a further period of two weeks, including Sundays on payment of late fee as prescribed by the University for each student.
A candidate, whose result of the Higher Secondary Examination are published late by the examining authority, may be admitted in the College within Two weeks Two weeks of the publication of her/his result depending on the availability of the provided that no students can be admitted into +3 1st year class beyond 31st December of the concerned academic year.
A candidate who, has been admitted into the college with Particular subject (s) of combination of subject into the 1st year may be allowed change of subject (s) or combination of subject (s) by the Principal till 30 days after the last of admission into 1st year course
